PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the reproduction in accordance with user's interest in interlocking with contents reproduction of a DVD or the like. SOLUTION: When a contents ID for specifying contents is distributed to a meta-information providing service device 10 in interlocking with contents reproduction in a DVD 70, a user terminal 40 receives meta-information corresponding thereto from the device. The control information of the DVD is extracted from the meta-information and playback of the DVD is controlled on the basis of the control information. The user terminal 40 further provides a means for a user to create meta-information, and the created meta-information may also be distributed and stored into the meta-information providing service device 10.
