PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for effectively browsing a signal of an information system and a signal of a video system by adapting them to optical fiber communication. SOLUTION: An access device 5 connected with an optical network 9 is constituted by including an operation input part which accepts operation information from an operation input device 6, an information system equipment communication part with which a PC and a peripheral equipment 8 are connected, a video system signal communication part which performs reception of the signal of the video system, an information system signal communication part which performs transmission/reception of the signal of the information system, an optic/electric signal conversion part which performs conversion between an optical signal and an electric signal, an arithmetic processing part which performs processing for creating video data and a video output part which outputs the created video data on a display device. By such structure, the signal of an information system and the signal of the video system are effectively browsed by receiving them by one access device via the optical fiber communication.
