PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a main screen 203 and a sub screen 204 separately by a common data line driving part 201 and to reduce a power consumption. SOLUTION: The data line driving part 201 is in common for the main screen 203 and the sub screen 204, and it applies the gradation voltage in accordance with the display data from a CPU 305 on the main screen 203 as well as applies the gradation voltage in accordance with the black or white data on the sub screen 204 in the vertical blanking interval of the main screen 203. A scanning line driving part 202 scans both of the main screen 203 and the sub screen 204 as well as it scans the sub screen 204 in the vertical blanking interval of the main screen 203.
