PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine enabling easy removing of a supporting frame of an article to be sewn or a hat frame for supporting a hat. SOLUTION: The multi-head sewing machine M has a hat frame device 30 comprising the hat frame 32 for supporting the hat 95 and a hat frame body 31 for removably and movably supporting the hat frame 32. A right and left pair of engaging means 53 are arranged on a rotating frame 36 of the hat frame body 31, and a part 59 to be pressed is provided on the tip of each engaging means 53 so as to press the hat frame body 31 oppositely with respect to a removing direction of the hat frame 32. The hat frame 32 is provided with a right and left pair of grip parts 92 near the part 59 to be pressed.
