The invention relates to a device for the automatic lowering of the mobile orientation element (9) of a spring switch for a monorail guide circuit. The inventive device is characterised in that it combines two means, namely: (i) a road vehicle guide assembly (21) comprising two inclined rollers (22 and 23), and (ii) one or two guiding edges (27 or 28) bordering a central circulation space (20) along a curvilinear path which converges towards the point of the switch. According to the invention, the inclined outer wall of one of the guide rollers (22 or 23) co-operates with the aforementioned guiding edge (27 or 28) and with the catch against the rail in order to produce the automatic movement of the mobile orientation element (9), by means of an end support which slides on the rail, into the position necessary for the road vehicle guide assembly (20) to clear the switch. The invention is particularly suitable for use by monorail circuit switch producers. |
