OPTICAL COMMUNICATION MODULE

PURPOSE: An optical communication module is provided to make a wire bonding for electrical connection between devices easy as reducing reflection loss of a photo detector. CONSTITUTION: The optical communication module(200) includes a package stem(210), and an amplifier(203) installed on the stem, and a photo detector(201) which is installed on the stem and receives a light. A cap(220) protects the photo detector and has a window on its top. And a number of pins(230) are located on the bottom of the stem and provide an electrical signal to the photo detector. At least a part of the stem, where the photo detector is installed, has a relief slope in order to connect the amplifier and the photo detector with a wire bonding.
