<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically correct a time piece function of a control panel for accurately capturing the late-night electric power. <P>SOLUTION: When a microcomputer 11 of a remote controller 4 requests the transmission of time data owned by a voltmeter 7 to a microcomputer 9 of the voltmeter 7, the microcomputer 9 of the electric water heater main body 1 requests the transmission of the time data owned by the voltmeter 7 to a microcomputer 15 of the voltmeter 7, and the voltmeter 7 transmits the own time data to the microcomputer 9 of the electric water heater main body 1. The microcomputer 9 corrects the self time data on the basis of the received time data of the voltmeter 7, and transmits the time data transmitted from the voltmeter 7 to the microcomputer 11 as a control circuit of a remote controller 4.
