<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply evaluating the control performance of a constant value control system by a PID controller on the basis of process information mostly stored in a computer for storing the process information. <P>SOLUTION: An evaluation method for control performance in the constant value control system, on the basis of data on a control amount and an operation amount which is collected from the control system subjected to constant value control by the PID controller, calculates a controllability evaluation index C<SB>Pv</SB>represented by a number 1 and an operationality evaluation index C<SB>Mv</SB>represented by a number 2, and decides whether or not the calculated indices are within acceptable values in comparison with the level of permissible variation according to a controlled object. In addition, the number 1 is expressed as C<SB>Pv</SB>=3*σ<SB>Pv</SB>/M<SB>s</SB>, and the number 2 is expressed as C<SB>Mv</SB>=3*σ<SB>Mv</SB>, whereσ<SB>Pv</SB>is the standard deviation of the control amount, M<SB>s</SB>is a measurement span, andσ<SB>Mv</SB>is the standard deviation of the operation amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
