PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which suppresses isolation of silica fine particles or titanium oxide fine particles, maintains uniform electrification property for a long time and has excellent fluidity. SOLUTION: The toner is obtained by externally adding positive electrification silica fine particles, titanium oxide fine articles and particles of a long-chain fatty acid or its salt to negative electrification mother particles. Preferably, the above external additives are added at the same time to the mother particles having -5 to 60μC/g charge. Or, after the positive electrification silica fine particles are externally added, the titanium oxide fine particles and the long-chain fatty acid or its salt are externally added. As favorable electrification characteristics and fluidity can be obtained without using negative electrification silica fine particles, the set temperature of the fixing device of the toner can be decreased and favorable image intensity after fixing can be obtained.
