PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the operation of an imaging unit in accordance with a pattern of an image. SOLUTION: The imaging unit is provided with an identification part 1-10 for identifying the pattern of the imaged image, and auto-focus control parts 1-4 to 1-9 for changing a processing method for auto-focus on the basis of the pattern information of the image identified by the identification part.
