PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide system allowing a user to retrieve information desired by the user without needing generation of a complicated retrieval condition equation, and capable of rapidly delivering only a text including information really desired by the user regardless of the number of users. SOLUTION: This system comprises: a retrieval condition registration step for generating a finite automaton 114 for checking a retrieval term extracted from a retrieval condition registered by a user 107; and a text retrieval/delivery step for calculating goodness of fit to respective retrieval conditions designated by a plurality of users by retrieving a text distributed from a news distribution source 106 by the finite automaton 114, and for distributing the text to users having designated the retrieval condition having the goodness of fit satisfying a predetermined condition.
