PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transform the presence format of presence information delivered from a requesting destination terminal to presence information of the presence format of a requester terminal. SOLUTION: A presence information receiving part 14 fetches, on receipt of presence information from a presentity 4, the terminal model of the requester terminal from a terminal identifier/terminal model correspondence database 12, and instructs the transformation of the presence information to a presence format transformation part 15. The presence format transformation part 15 retrieves a presence format table 16 and fetches the corresponding presence format to transform the presence information. The presence information receiving part 14 then instructs a presence information transmission part 17 to transmit the resulting presence information to the requester terminal. The presence information transmission part 17 retrieves a terminal request storage part 13 to fetch the corresponding requester terminal identifier, and transmits the presence information to the terminal of the requester terminal identifier.
