PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splitter apparatus for making differences in ADSL communication. SOLUTION: The splitter apparatus capable of making connection to a telephone line, connection to a port for receiving / outputting a signal of a telephone line frequency band, and connection to a port for receiving / outputting a signal with a frequency band higher than the telephone line frequency band, turns off a communication path in a port for receiving / outputting the signal with the frequency band higher than the telephone line frequency band and thereafter immediately executes the communication from the port for receiving / outputting the signal of the telephone line frequency band when the communication from the port for receiving / outputting the signal of the telephone line frequency band is selected and the communication in the port for receiving / outputting the signal with the frequency band higher than the telephone line frequency band is not performed, and performs no communication from the port for receiving / outputting the signal with the frequency band when the communication in the port for receiving / outputting the signal with the frequency band higher than the telephone line frequency band is performed.
