PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic toner which is excellent in charging stability and can forms a high-fineness image either under high temperature/humidity and under low temperature/humidity. SOLUTION: In the magnetic toner, inorganic fine powderαcharged to the reverse polarity to magnetic toner particles and inorganic fine powerβcharged to the same polarity to the toner are used as toner particles containing a binder resin and magnetic powder, a relation between a powder charged amount and a ratio surface area of the powderα, a ratio of contents of the powderαand the powderβ, and a ratio of a content of an iron element to a carbon element existing on toner particle surfaces are specified.
