GRILL FOR COMBINED MICROWAVE AND HEATER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost rigid grill actively applicable to either microwave or heater heating for heating a heated object having an area wide enough to occupy a chamber, without removing it to the outside even in a microwave heating mode. SOLUTION: The rectangular metal grill is placed on the whole floor surface of the heating chamber of the combined microwave and heater device. It has at least slits and insulating leg portions at four rectangular corners. Stoppers for fixing the heated object are provided at the upper ends of the leg portions. The slits each of which is not shorter than a 1/4 microwavelength are formed in parallel to the longitudinal direction of a microwave feed port. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
