PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint mechanism capable of achieving secure sealing effect, preventing a coming-off accident of a connected pipe, easily conducting construction, and dispensing with preparing dedicated tools for construction. SOLUTION: This joint mechanism is composed of a cylindrical joint main body, a stopper member in the form of a circular wire member that is partly cut, the connected pipe to be inserted inside the joint main body, and an O-ring installed on an outer circumference close to an inserted tip of the connected pipe. In an inner circumferential wall of the joint main body, an outer ring groove is provided for an outer circumferential edge part of the stopper member to be contained. In a part of a wall part position of the joint main body in which the outer ring groove is formed, a stopper member introducing port formed wider than thickness size of the circular wire member of the stopper member is provided. An inner circular groove to contain an inner circumferential edge part of the stopper member is formed at an outer circumferential wall position of the connected pipe apart from the inserted tip.
