PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a compact air-fuel mixture mass in a low load; and to form a relatively large air-fuel mixture mass in a high load in stratified combustion. SOLUTION: A fuel spray is directly turned to a spark plug by increasing a fuel spray angle from a fuel injection valve in the low load. The fuel spray is turned to a cavity of a piston crown surface by reducing the fuel spray angle in the high load, and the air-fuel mixture mass is formed of the fuel spray rolling up to an upper part of a piston after a collision.
