PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding wire for gas shielded metal-arc welding capable of preventing a welded metal from lowering in strength and toughness and having various performances such as high welded metal performance, high productivity, low slag production amount and stable weldability in a gas shielded metal-arc welding at high inlet heat and high interpass temperature. SOLUTION: The composition of the welding wire including a plating layer is, by mass,≤0.02% C, 0.4-1.2% Si, 1.7-2.4% Mn, 0.005-0.070% Al, 0.05-0.30% Ti, 0.0020-0.0100% B,≤0.5% Cu,≥0.4% Mo and the balance substantially Fe.
