The clutch unit in a transmission has two axially and radially adjacent multi-plate clutches with the plates (21,22) of the radially outer plate packet (39) pressed axially against a contact section (7) of the common plate carrier (9), whereby the contact section is a radially outwards pointing endpiece of the plate carrier. The common clutch plate carrier is a sheet metal formed part and the contact section is an integral component part of it and formed by a shaping process. |
