PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a narrow and compact article housing device. SOLUTION: In this article housing device 10, a plurality of columnar housing parts 14, 15, 16 and 17 are formed in a pair of upper and lower trays 11 and 12, respectively; fold line parts 20 and 21 are formed among the housing parts adjacent to one another; the lower tray 11 is covered with the upper tray 12; and after that, the upper and lower trays 11 and 12 are folded along the line parts 20 and 21, so that the articles 2 can be housed in the housing parts 14, 15, 16 and 17.
