QUALITY DETERMINATION SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOBILE STORAGE BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality determination system capable of testing a lead acid battery and determination of quality safely and simply as mounting the battery in the vehicle by placing the system at the store front or in the site of a gas station, and moving it to the vehicle side when testing the battery. SOLUTION: The system comprises mainly: an easily movable hand truck; a testing device mounted on the hand truck for the quality determination; and a printer outputting the printed results of the determination. The testing device comprises: a pair of cables for testing provided with alligator clips for holding respective plus, and minus terminals of the battery; a size setting switch for setting corresponding to the capacity and size of the battery; a mode setting switch for setting corresponding to the state of the battery just before the test; a measurement starting switch for starting a discharge of the battery for the test; a determination circuit for determination of the state of the battery based on the results of the test; and a signal circuit for transmitting the results of the determination to the printer and outputting the printed results.
