PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a return mechanism to push back a cam slider in a press die to the original position in which the initial pressure is set to be low when the cam slider is started to push, damages of a slidable contact surface are suppressed, and the noise is suppressed. SOLUTION: In the return mechanism 1 of a cam slider in a press die comprising a cam base 2, a cam slider 3 which is moved substantially in the horizontal direction with respect to the cam base to work a workpiece, and a cam driver 4 which comes into slidable contact with the cam slider and moves it in the horizontal direction, a return means to return the cam slider 3 to the original position after the cam slider 3 is horizontally moved is an elastic laminate body 7 with a metal plate laminated on a rubber body.
