PURPOSE: A drum-type washing machine is provided to stably perform washing steps and to reduce noise generated by vibration by mounting the proper number of supporting springs and dampers for reducing the vibration of an outer tub and increasing damping efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A drum-type washing machine is composed of a body having a laundry input port on the front side; an outer tub(200) mounted in the body and rotatively installed with a drum; first and second dampers(511,512) connected to one of the bottom side for the outer peripheral surface of the outer tub, respectively; a third damper(513) connected to the other side of the bottom side for the outer peripheral surface of the outer tub; and a plurality of supporting springs(521,522,523) linked to the upper part of the outer peripheral surface of the outer tub arranged with each damper. The first and second dampers are connected to the front and rear sides about the longitudinal direction of the outer tub. The third damper is coupled in the central part about the longitudinal direction of the outer tub.
