PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the interruption of processing, even if the contact of a photoreceptor drum with an electrically conductive member is transiently stopped by adopting such a constitution that only when a cover is opened and then closed, that is, a device is in a standby state, the fitting state of the photoreceptor drum is discriminated. SOLUTION: One end of a cover 5 pivotally attached by a hinge part covers a housing part 4 of the photoreceptor drum, which can be opened/closed in the arrow direction. This cover 5 is opened to take out/exchange the photoreceptor drum. In this image forming device A, when the cover 5 is opened/closed to exchange the photoreceptor drum, an LED head 5a moving linked with the cover 5 is detected by an opening/closing detecting sensor 2, to detect the opening/closing state of the cover 5. Only when the temporarily opened cover 5 is reclosed after the photoreceptor drum is exchanged/fitted, it is discriminated whether the photoreceptor drum is fitted to a bearing or not and in a normal fitting state or not. |
