PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operating efficiency of a maintenance object device and to enhance the service for the user by reducing a time required for the execution of maintenance from the occurrence of a trouble in the object device for maintenance. SOLUTION: A center server 3 is provided with a CPU 31 having a ROM 32 and a RAM 33, a copying machine installation location memory 34, a mobile schedule memory 35 and a modem 5c. The copying machine installation location memory 34 stored the addresses of installed places of plural copying machines respectively. The mobile schedule memory 35 stores telephone numbers of portable tools and day's worth of moving schedules for each service personnel carrying the portable tools. Upon the receipt of trouble data of a copying machine, the CPU 31 makes references to the mobile schedule memory 35 and the copying machine installation location memory 34, to select a service personnels located nearest the copying machine which generated the trouble and sends maintenance instruction data to the service personnels. |
