PURPOSE:To provide a stabilized DNA detection process in which RNA in the sample to be detected is stably stored and can be detected in high sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:The RNA detection process where an alkali is added to the sample to be detected containing cell bodies to cause denaturation of the cells and the mixture is neutralized with at least one selected from divalent or polyvalent metal ions and polyphosphate ion, then RNA is detected in the sample and a neutralizing solution which contains a buffer solution and at least one selected from the group consisting of divalent and polyvalent ions and polyphosphate ion is used in the detection of RNA, are provided. |
