PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid for traction drive, which has antioxidant properties as well as a not lowered fraction coefficient. SOLUTION: This fluid is prepared by adding 0.5-20%, desirably 1-10wt.% pentane or heptane derivative having at least one phenyl group as a side chain (e.g. 2-methyl-2,4-diphenylpentane or 2,4-dimethyl-2-cyclohexyl-4,6-diphenylheptane) to a base of a common fraction drive fluid (e.g. 2-methyl-2,4- dicyclohexylpentane). |
