PURPOSE: A portable terminal device equipped with a financial process program source and a recording medium recording the program source are provided to equip the portable terminal with the program source related to financial accounting, financial management, and cost management in a multi-layer structure. CONSTITUTION: The portable terminal comprises an input part(200), a display part(400), a control part(300), and a memory(100). The portable terminal provides a program mode for the financial accounting, the financial management, and the cost management. Each program mode provides the first sub program mode. If the user selects the first sub program mode, at least more than one menu item provided from the first sub program mode is displayed on a screen. If the user selects the menu item, a message to input a value in order is output. If the user inputs the value by responding to the message, a result value is output before the next message is output.
