PURPOSE: An LCD device is provided to form spacers to equalize cell gaps of LCD unit cell areas and cell gaps of peripheral areas of the LCD unit cell areas, thereby preventing substrates from drooping caused by unequalized cell gaps and improving a product throughput. CONSTITUTION: The first substrate(200) and the second substrate(300) are coupled together. A liquid crystal layer(400) is filled between the first substrate(200) and the second substrate(300). Sealants(510,520) seal the liquid crystal layer(400) between the first and second substrates(200,300). Spacers(610,620) maintain cell gaps. A color filter layer(310) for generating a predetermined color is formed on an upper side of the second substrate(300). An array layer(210) of the first substrate(200) is faced with the color filter layer(310) in connection with the first substrate(200).
