PURPOSE: A chip for measuring temperature and a fabricating method thereof are provided to simplify a fabrication process by coating paints on the surface of a divided substrate and dividing the substrate into a plurality of chips. CONSTITUTION: A chip for measuring temperature includes a substrate and a plurality of paints(30) for changing colors according to different temperature levels. The paints are coated on the upper surface of the substrate. A method for fabricating the chip includes a process for adhering a sapphire substrate on an adhesive tape, a sawing process for dividing the sapphire substrate into a plurality of chips(20a-20g), a paint coating process for coating paints on the upper surface of the divided sapphire substrate, and a separation process for separating the chips from the sapphire substrate.
