PURPOSE: A solar hot water system is provided to make use of hot water of a thermal energy storage tank heated by solar heat for heating or other purposes. CONSTITUTION: In a solar hot water system, the front of a heat collection case(10) is open and the heat collection case is covered with a transparent glass layer(12). A heat collection plate(18) is arranged to the inner bottom of the heat collection case. A pipe(14) is put on the heat collection plate in zigzags. The ends(22,24) of the pipe are connected to a hot water-thermal energy storage tank(34) outside the heat collection case. The heated water in the pipe installed in the heat collection case is moved to the hot water-thermal energy storage tank through the pipe arranged to the upper side. The cold water staying at the lower end of the hot water-thermal energy storage tank flows into the heat collection case through the pipe connected to the pipe arranged to the lower side, by water pressure and thus cold and hot water circulate and the temperature of the water of the hot water-thermal energy storage tank rises.
