PURPOSE: A door assembly of a passenger airbag for a vehicle is provided to reduce the number of parts and a manufacturing process, and to prevent a passenger from being injured by fragments of a broken airbag door. CONSTITUTION: A door assembly(30) for a passenger airbag is composed of an airbag door unit(31) formed at an instrument panel(10), a reinforcing plate(33) attached to the rear of the airbag door unit, a hollow reinforcing wall(37) disposed at the rear of the reinforcing plate and guiding the inflated airbag into the reinforcing plate, and hinges(35). The hinge is fixed to the reinforcing wall and the rear of the reinforcing plate, and rotates the airbag door unit when the airbag is inflated. |
