PURPOSE: A fuel cell and its preparation method are provided, to prevent the damage of a gas channel due to the stress generated by the pressure of a reaction gas and to reduce channel resistance. CONSTITUTION: The fuel cell comprises a first substrate(102) where a first gas channel is formed to supply a first reaction gas; a first current collection layer(106) formed on the first substrate; a first gas diffusion layer(108) formed on the first substrate; a first reaction layer(110) formed on the first substrate; a second substrate(102') where a second gas channel is formed to supply a second reaction gas; a second current collection layer(106') formed on the second substrate; a second gas diffusion layer(108') formed on the second substrate; a second reaction layer(110') formed on the second substrate; and an electrolyte membrane(112) formed between the first reaction layer and the second reaction layer, wherein the width of aperture of at least one of the first gas channel and the second gas channel is smaller than the diameter of material constituting the first gas diffusion layer and the second gas diffusion layer.
