<p>Waste-collection device comprises an inner bin (1) and an opening flap (26) hinged on an outer bin (2) and operated by a foot. A control rod (10), preferably in the form of an annular rocker, arranged in the base region of the outer bin supports a foot pedal (15) on the front side of the waste-collection device. The opening flap which is spring-loaded in its closed position is loaded via a cable pull or a Bowden cable (B) operated by the control rod.
