PURPOSE: A porous concrete block is provided to heighten structural stability and to form an eco-friendly building structure. CONSTITUTION: The porous concrete block contains a body(10) provided with lateral grooves(12) formed on four sides, projections(13) formed on the corners and many central grooves(11) formed to the center of the body(10). The manufacturing method for a porous concrete block comprises the steps of: preparing a mortar mixture by mixing aggregate such as gravel, sand, etc., 13¯18 weight percent blast furnace cement of the aggregate, 25¯35 weight percent AE water-reducing agents of the blast furnace cement, adhesives and water; mixing 2¯3 percent stiffener to the prepared mortar mixture; placing the mortar mixture to a polygonal block frame, then shaping; after shaping the mortar mixture, spraying powdered charcoal or loess; and hardening by supplying steam of 50¯60 deg.C to the shaped material for 30 minutes ¯ 2 hours.
