PURPOSE: A damper for adjusting a vehicle height by using a motor is provided to damp the vibration of a spring by converting the linear reciprocating motion of a rod to the rotational motion of a ball screw and using the load of a motor and to compact the structure of a damper. CONSTITUTION: A damper for adjusting a vehicle height by using a motor comprises a cylindrical damper case(10), a motor(11) installed in the damper case, a ball screw installed on a drive shaft(12) of the motor, a rod(15) reciprocatingly combined with the ball screw, and a control unit(14) installed to control the driving of the motor. The control unit controls the driving force of the motor depending on the input signals of sensors. For lowering the height of a vehicle, the rod is lifted up by driving the motor.
