METHOD FOR CONTROLLING RINGTONE SERVICE BY USING PEER-TO-PEER FUNCTION OF WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a ringtone service by using a peer-to-peer function of a wireless communication system is provided to directly transmit bell sound data of a ringtone generated from an originating mobile communication terminal to a receiving side in peer-to-peer method. CONSTITUTION: An originating mobile communication terminal performs an invite command(S10). A call access server transmits the invite command(S12), and transmits IP address information to the originating terminal(S14). The originating terminal transmits an approval message to the server(S16). The server transmits a response message to the originating terminal(S18). The originating terminal transmits multimedia ringtone data to a receiving terminal(S20). The receiving terminal delivers the multimedia ringtone data as a video and a sound(S22). If the receiving terminal transmits a response message for approving a call(S24), the server transmits a response message(S26). The originating terminal transmits an approval message(S28). The server transmits the approval message to the receiving terminal(S30). A speech path is formed between the two terminals(S32).
