METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASURING MOISTURE OF IRON ORE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for measuring moisture of iron ore are provided to automatically stop an operation of equipment when equipment has a fault during a test operation of the iron ore moisture measurement apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An iron ore moisture measurement apparatus includes a specimen conveying robot(42), which moves along a three-axis orthogonal coordinate so as to convey the specimen, and an auto loader having a motor(40) and a cylinder(41). A metering unit(46) is provided in order to measure a weight of iron ore. Iron ore having moisture therein is dried in a drying chamber(47). A main frame includes a specimen retrieving unit(43) for receiving iron ore transferred thereto from the metering unit(46), a hopper(44) for controlling an amount of iron ore and a dust cover(45).
