PURPOSE: A method of automatically checking an interface for an LE(Local Exchange) and an AN(Access Network) is provided to define procedures for setting, inquiring about, and informing an operator of an event, so that the operator can check an interface for an LE and an AN through an EMS(Element Management System). CONSTITUTION: A system receives information showing that a trace notification is generated from an LE(S501). If notification situations occur, an EMS checks whether an event is presented through a trace view screen to inform an operator of the notification(S502). If so, the system transmits corresponding data to a trace view processor(S503). The trace view processor checks whether a system ID for the generated event is identical with a system ID selected in a trace view(S504). If so, the trace view processor displays the system ID through a notification view(S505).
