PURPOSE: A system for automatically measuring ADSL performance and functions is provided to integratedly operate several measurement systems by reciprocally interworking the systems, and to synthetically manage test result values, thereby effectively processing various test-related data while quickly conducting tests. CONSTITUTION: An ADSL function and performance test module(20) has an ATU_C(ADSL Transceiver Unit-Central Office), and conducts function/performance tests for an ADSL link setup. An L2/L3 test module(10) conducts functional tests for an L2 ATM layer, an Ethernet layer, and PPP/L3 IP layers. A line simulator module(40) sets line test environments for testing. Switching modules(30,50) automatically connect one pair of the ATU-C and an ATU-R(ADSL Transceiver Unit-Remote). An MCU(60) manages a test profile for repeatedly conducting necessary tests, synthetically analyzes tested results, and decides whether each test item is appropriate.
