A piezoelectric transducer (1) for sending and receiving an ultrasonic wave and a flexible printed circuit (FPC) (6) for applying current to the piezoelectric transducer (1) is provided, the FPC (6) is arranged oppositely to a side face of the piezoelectric transducer (1), and a soldering material (9) for electrically connecting the piezoelectric transducer (1) to the FPC (6) is arranged in a corner portion formed by the piezoelectric transducer (1) and the FPC (6).
