PURPOSE: An intelligent call forwarding service system in a mobile communication network and a method therefor are provided to forward a call based on position information on a receiving terminal with regards to a receiving call according to set conditions of a user, and to service the forwarded call, thereby variously processing a call access request of a transmitter. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(210) receives a receiving call through a mobile communication network, wirelessly makes a call with other party, and requests a call forwarding service. An HLR(220) stores position information on the mobile terminal(210), and inquires about a call forwarding method with regards to the mobile terminal(210) when the receiving call is generated. A call forwarding server(240) registers call forwarding setup information to set a call forwarding service for the mobile terminal(210), and transmits the call forwarding setup information to the HLR(220). A call forwarding DB(242) stores the set call forwarding setup information as data. |
