PORTABLE MEASURING INSTRUMENT FOR OZONE OR FORMALDEHYDE IN AIR

PURPOSE: A portable measuring instrument is provided to measure ozone or formaldehyde in the air regardless of places by simplifying the structure and easily carrying the measuring instrument. CONSTITUTION: A cover member comprises an opening unit(110) discharging a measuring tape(400) and upper and lower covers(100a,100b) formed with a rotary knob groove(130) and a hanging groove(140) facing a central part and combined to each other by a bolt. An operating bar(200) is embedded in the cover member to rotate and one end of the operating bar is formed as a rotary knob(210) combined to the rotary knob groove and the other end is formed as a fixing projection joined to the hanging groove. A rotary wheel(300) comprises flanges(360a,360b) arranged at both sides; a hollow hole(340) formed in the center; and a plurality of stoppers(350) projected radially on one flange. The operating bar is fixed and combined at both ends of the rotary wheel through the hollow hole. One end of a spiral spring wound around the operating bar is fixed and joined with the operating bar and the other end is fixed and joined to the upper cover, and the spiral spring stores rotary power to the rotary wheel by rotation of the rotary bar. The measuring tape is impregnated with a measuring reagent to react with a matter in the air by removing a release paper, formed with plural notches(450) at both sides to cut into plural pieces, and wound inward both flanges of the rotary wheel. A moving tool(490) lever-combined to a moving knob supporting unit of the lower cover is composed of a moving knob formed at one end and inserted into a moving knob insertion groove(190) of the lower cover and an operating piece formed at the other end, elastically rebounded by a spring(260), and limited by the stopper. The operating piece moves the stopper by each one step by press-fitting the moving knob.
