There is provided a hot-melt transfer ink image-receiving sheet which is excellent in abrasion resistance as well as image density and halftone dot reproducibility of a recorded image and useful as a contact printing film in the photomechanical process. In this hot-melt transfer ink image-receiving sheet 4 having an image-receiving surface 3 on a support 1, the image-receiving surface 3 has surface roughness (JIS-B0601) of 0.15-0.60 mum in terms of arithmetic mean deviation Ra and 1.0-3.0 mum in terms of 10-point height of irregularities Rz.
