PURPOSE: Provided is a water softener which is manufactured by a simple process to increase productivity and lower the manufacturing cost and is easy to regenerate and replace contents such as an ion exchange resin filled up with the inner part. CONSTITUTION: In the water softener comprising a tube-shaped housing(10) having an ion exchange resin layer(20), a lower part cap is attachably and detachably coupled to the lower end part of the housing by a screw coupling part(40), the lower part cap has a water inlet(45) connected to the outside water works pipe, a water outlet(50) is located adjacent to the water inlet which discharges water ion-exchange treated by being passed through the ion-exchange resin layer and a raw water inlet pipe(60) extended toward the inner upper side of the housing is connected to the water inlet.
