The invention relates to a method for transmitting data in a network, wherein the transmitter/receiver devices for transmitting the data are connected to a line-bound transmission medium (5), especially a power supply network. Data is transmitted from lowlink transmitter/receiver devices to an uplink transmitter/receiver device (7) on several subcarriers which are provided by FDMA (Frequency Division Multiple Access) and preferably FDM (Frequency Division Multiplex) and which are orthogonal in relation to each other. Said subcarriers are further divided into time slots by TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access). Said method enables high spectral efficiency in the uplink and good utilisation of band width without increasing linearity demands on a receiver (12) used in the uplink transmitter/receiver device (7). |
