PURPOSE: A transport safety device for a side extension arm of a vehicle is provided to secure the double safety system, and to handle easily by elastically supporting a safety hook with a spring and by rotating a locking unit with an operator. CONSTITUTION: A transport safety device of a side extension arm(15) for a vehicle(14) is composed of a locking unit(1) and a safety hook. The safety hook is released by releasing the locking unit, and mutually actuated with the locking unit. The safety hook is rotated and installed, and elastically supported by a spring. The locking unit is rotated and released regardless of direction of rotation, and elastically fixed by the spring. The safety hook is partially connected to the eccentric portion of the locking unit. A guide surface is inclined to the central axis of the locking unit, and slid along the pin in rotating the locking unit. |
