PURPOSE: An air cleaner device for a motorcycle is provided to increase the degree of freedom for setting suction property, suction noise property, engine output property, etc. and avoid a sub chamber from affecting the inspiratory property. CONSTITUTION: In the air cleaner device for a motorcycle having a sub chamber(54) for flowing back a blow-by gas of an engine, the sub chamber installed in an air intake apparatus consists of an air cleaner(18) and a connecting tube(17) installed in the downstream of the air cleaner and for connecting to a fuel supply system, wherein the connecting tube extends to the inside of an air cleaner case(51) to directly support an air cleaner element(52), a case portion(74) having an opening(77) at the front end is protruded integral to an inner wall of the air cleaner case, a cap(76) is installed at the opening of the case portion to form the sub chamber, a joint portion(81) is installed at the cap, the joint portion protruding toward the connecting tube and provided with a flue path(78) communicating into the connecting tube from the sub chamber, and the joint portion is directly connected to an extending portion(17a) of the connecting tube.
