PURPOSE: A method and a system for an Internet mail based on a mailbox of a sender are provided to download an original copy of the mail from the mailbox of the sender by storing the original copy in the mailbox of a sender mailbox equipped to each sender ID. CONSTITUTION: A sender down mail server(202) receives the mail sent from the sender(201) and stores the original copy in a sender mail box(209). The sender down mail server makes/transfers a delivery informing message to a recipient down mail server(203) or a recipient mail server(213). If the recipients(204,214) want to receive the mail, the original copy is received from the sender down mail server.
