PURPOSE: A PDP having ultraviolet rays-visible rays converter is provided to improve the efficiency of the PDP and contrast by adding a light converter. CONSTITUTION: A PDP having ultraviolet rays-visible rays converter comprises a front panel(FP), a back panel(BP), and a filter set arranged in front of the front panel. A light converter(70) is mounted between the front panel and the filter set and converts ultraviolet rays emitted from the front panel to visible rays. The front panel includes a front glass substrate, a first and second discharge sustain electrodes, first and second bus electrodes, a first dielectric layer, and a protection layer. The back panel includes a back glass substrate, an address electrode, a second dielectric layer, a barrier rib, and a first to third phosphor layers. |
